Mechanism of action

EPO-derived peptide that activates the innate repair receptor (EPOR/CD131) without stimulating red blood cell production.

Details

ARA-290 has shown improvements in neuropathic symptoms and corneal nerve fiber density in small phase 2 trials in sarcoidosis and type 2 diabetes. Not approved.
